Basic Information
PZBS Closed Foam-Water Sprinkler System integrates an automatic sprinkler system with a pressure-type foam proportioning device. In the event of a fire, the sprinkler system activates, and water passes through the proportioning device to mix with aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF) concentrate, creating a 3% or 6% foam-water mixture. This mixture is discharged through sprinkler heads onto the protected area for fire suppression.
This system is designed to protect areas prone to overflow fires caused by Class A, B, and C liquid leaks. It provides surface cooling, reduces radiant heat, and covers the fire to achieve smothering and extinguishing effects.
